Drive Access
The car subscription built for people banks don't see.
No bank approval needed, just a minimum income of R 23,000/month net and a soft credit check for identity verification only. A previous decline doesn't count against you.

What if you earn a living, have good cash flow, take responsibility for your commitments, but the bank's approval system simply doesn't see your story?
Should a credit score determine whether you deserve the freedom of mobility? At Drive Access, we believe it shouldn't.
Every hardworking South African deserves access to reliable mobility, not only those who fit neatly inside a bank's approval criteria.
Because mobility creates opportunity. It gets you to work, gets your children to school, helps you earn a living and gives you the freedom to move forward.
If you can afford the vehicle, take responsibility and are willing to commit, shouldn't you have the opportunity to Drive?
That's why we created Drive Access.
Everything you need is already in it. Nothing extra to arrange, nothing hidden.

Frequently
Asked Questions
Still wondering how Drive Access actually works for you? Here's what most people ask before they apply, from qualifying on income to what happens when your 12 months are up.
Yes. Drive Access was built with you in mind. As long as you earn a net monthly income of R23,000 or more, you may qualify, regardless of your debt review status.
A previous finance decline has no bearing on your Drive Access application. We don't use the same criteria as a bank. We look at your income, your stability, and your ability to pay.
We do a soft credit check for identity verification purposes only. It won't affect your credit score, and it's not used to approve or decline your application. What qualifies you is your income, not your credit history.
You need a net monthly income (after deductions) of at least R23,000. That's it. No credit score threshold. No bank approval required.
Typically your ID document, recent payslips or bank statements showing your income, proof of address, and your driver's licence. A specialist will guide you through exactly what's needed after you apply.
No. Drive Access is a car subscription: you pay one fixed monthly fee for 12 months and everything is included. You're not buying the vehicle and you're not taking on long-term debt. When your term ends, you can renew, switch vehicles, or walk away.
No, and that's actually one of the benefits. You're not tied to a depreciating asset, there's no balloon payment at the end, and no long-term financial commitment beyond your 12-month term.
Insurance, routine servicing and maintenance, tyres, tracking, roadside assistance and licence renewal admin. The only thing not included is fuel.
No. One fixed monthly payment covers everything listed above. No surprise bills, no unexpected maintenance costs, no separate insurance payments.
You can renew your subscription, switch to a different vehicle, or end your subscription with the agreed notice period. There's no pressure and no long-term lock-in.
No. Drive.co.za and Drive New (drivenew.co.za) are separate, unrelated businesses.
